Meet Katie B

What began as a high school job quickly turned into something much more as I became fascinated by the artistry and transformation behind every service. Watching clients leave feeling confident and happy inspired me to pursue a career where I could help people feel their absolute best.

 

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to train alongside educators from L’Oréal Professionnel and Kevin Murphy, and am committed to continually expanding my education through classes both inside and outside of the salon.

 

I specialize in low-maintenance color, lived-in blonding, intentional highlighting techniques, and texturized cuts. My approach to hair is all about enhancing what already makes someone feel like themselves while prioritizing the health and integrity of their hair.

 

Some of my favorite transformations are dimensional color and brightening services that leave clients feeling confident and naturally elevated. I especially love when someone lights up after seeing themselves in the mirror. Creating effortless & personalized looks that grow out beautifully and make life easier for my clients at home is what I love!

 

When you sit in my chair, my goal is for you to feel comfortable, supported, and completely yourself. I want to feel like a safe space where any client can come and be themselves and ask for what they really want. We are in it together!

 

I value open and honest communication to always make sure we are on the same page, especially knowing what I am putting in their hair and why. If you know what is going into your hair, you can better understand how to keep up with your hair at home!

 

One of my favorite things about being a part of Mane Techniques is the supportive environment and team culture where everyone encourages one another to grow and succeed while creating an incredible experience for every client who walks through the door.

 

Outside of the salon, I love spending time with friends and family, staying active, and being outdoors. I love to chat and can talk about anything from tv shows to life updates. I love a good laugh and making my clients feel at home when they sit down in my chair.
